New Hope Community Church - PROJECT REMARKABLE

As NHCC passes the 1-year mark for the Project Remarkable captial campaign, they had a 3-week reminder which included a physical Model, three computer renderings, and a 3D fly-thru video.

The design is still in SD, but these images really help folks understand the vision for Isanti County and Beyond.

Stop by the NEW New Hope "Gathering Place" in downtown cambridge - right across the street from Sidelines Bar & Grill.

The model and stills will be on-display in the front window soon.

Until then - check out their website. I've had SO much fun on this project from working with the site-selection team, the What-If team, the What-Now team, the Capital Campaign, and in the near future - the Get-R-Done team.  Comments welcome!

Creating Something from Nothing.

A clean sheet of white paper, the spark of an idea, a purpose you believe in, and decades of visual "thinking" is what moves me.

Here are my first four ideas, to create the logo for the www.csi-msp.org 2013 hosting of the Construction Specifications Institute's North Central Regional Convention.

We'll see what the planning committee thinks after friday.

I haven't done this sort of event logo since the series of Isanti County Rodeo Jubilee days buttons at least 12 to 15 years ago.  Fun times!

Rush Lake Addition....moving forward.

Some doodles for the addition mentioned in the last blog. A simple looking, complicated to build, three story addition to a Rush Lake home I've recently started to design.

Wicked Site - Rush Lake

Working on at least one concept that fits on a narrow, sloping, well treed site, with clay soil filled with boulders, a drainage swale, propertyline "issues", and a desire for a low-cost first phase addition, that will remain, and does not compromize what the "Dream" home will eventually look like when completed.

Here's my initial concept sketch:

Stay tuned for the "post homeowner meeting" results.
