School Squishing.....

I spent 8 years designing public schools in MN. It's nice to work on what you enjoy.

This schematic plan for a new elementary school in southern MN needs some paring down on the square footage while maintaining the program.

Time for me to dig in!

Design Tweaks for Pricing Set

Every project is an adventure: when I arrived at the final design meeting with this passionate client team one of them had built a 3/8" scale model. There were only two tweaks: remove one wall, reduce depth of four soffits.

It is exciting when a design is this close to exactly what they need to make this project work.

Stay tuned, and if driving through Princeton, MN. Look for the Crystal leaf downtown.

Do you LOVE where you LIVE

You have a vague idea of what you want in your new home: how to best take advantage of the views, replicating that enormous stone fireplace from your honeymoon, a fun bridge above the entry and two story vaulted great room, luxurious master bedroom suite, etc.

Where do you even start? There are no stock plans for this!

Hire someone who listens to your needs and wants, and guides your project down to your budget while keeping the features you just have to have.

That's what this couple did. We started mocking up the design in 3D and finished the permit drawings (blueprints) using the same tool: Revit.
